How do I know which aesthetic or skin treatment is right for me?
You do not need to decide on a treatment before your consultation. The Well Body Clinics approach starts by understanding your concerns, reviewing relevant clinical history and analysing your skin. Your practitioner can then explain suitable options and develop a personalised treatment and skincare direction. The aim is to replace guesswork with a plan, including clear advice about when to proceed, adapt, pause or consider another route.
What happens during a Skin Confidence consultation?
Your consultation includes a clinical history review, skin analysis and a discussion about your main concerns and goals. Your practitioner will explain relevant observations and possible contributing factors, and a mini facial may be included where appropriate. You will then receive personalised recommendations covering potential treatments, skincare, lifestyle considerations where relevant and suggested next steps, with referral or signposting if treatment is not suitable.
Will aesthetic treatments make me look unnatural or overdone?
The Well Body Clinics approach is designed around skin confidence and natural-looking improvement rather than dramatic change. Your consultation starts with understanding what bothers you and what outcome you are hoping for. Recommendations should then be tailored to your skin, goals and preferences. If a proposed treatment is unlikely to deliver an appropriate or realistic result, your practitioner can discuss alternatives or advise against proceeding

What skin concerns can a consultation help me understand?
A Skin Confidence consultation may be useful if you are concerned about visible signs of ageing, dullness, texture, congestion, dryness, fine lines, loss of firmness or general skin confidence. It is also designed for people who simply feel unsure which treatment or skincare route makes sense for them. The purpose is to understand the concern first and then develop an appropriate, personalised direction rather than choosing treatments by guesswork.
What if the recommended skin treatment is not working?
If your skin is not responding as expected, the plan should be reviewed rather than simply repeating the same treatment. Your practitioner can revisit your goals, treatment response, skincare routine and relevant lifestyle factors. The treatment type, spacing or skincare approach may then be adjusted. If another service or medical route appears more appropriate, your practitioner can explain why and recommend the next step where possible.
Do I need to commit to treatment after my consultation?
No. The purpose of the consultation is to give you greater clarity before committing to treatment. You should leave understanding your skin concerns, relevant options and the recommended next steps. Depending on the assessment, the appropriate route may be treatment, skincare changes, monitoring, a staged plan or deciding that treatment is not appropriate at this stage. The consultation is therefore intended to support an informed decision rather than pressure you into treatment.
What is the Well Body Clinics Skin Confidence Roadmap?
The Skin Confidence Roadmap is a structured approach consisting of five stages: Understand, Analyse, Refresh, Personalise and Maintain. At each stage, your practitioner reviews whether your skin feels healthier, whether you understand your options and whether the plan is moving towards the goals agreed during consultation. If not, the plan can be changed, treatment frequency reviewed, skincare adjusted or another route recommended.
What happens if an aesthetic treatment is not suitable for me?
Sometimes the most appropriate outcome from a consultation is not to proceed with treatment. If your practitioner believes a treatment is unsuitable at that stage, they should explain why and discuss an alternative approach where possible. This might mean changing the treatment plan, improving the skin barrier first, waiting, considering another Well Body Clinics service or seeking external medical advice where that would be more appropriate.
