Whistling Hearing Aids?

Aug 21
1 min read

If you are a hearing aid wearer and you're finding that your hearing aids are whistling, that can sometimes be the effect of wax.

So not only is the wax building up in your ear canal, it can also work its way into the tubing of your hearing aid and into the mechanism.

So if your ears are full of wax, then the sound wave has got nowhere to go, so it's bouncing back out of your ear instead of being absorbed into the ear drum.

So another reason to get your ears checked for wax build-up.

If your hearing aids are whilstling book an Ear Examination with Well Body Clinics.
